INGREDIENTS

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 cloves finely minced garlic
  • 1 finely minced shallot
  • 1 tsp finely minced ginger
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp red pepper chili flakes
  • ¼ cup Korean chili peppers
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ⅔ cup Avocado oil
  • Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. Separate the thawed drums and flats.

  2. Add chicken wings to a bowl and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Add cornstarch and mix to coat the wings.

  3. Grill wings at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Flip one time halfway through until the wings reach an internal temperature of 190 degrees.

  4. Put the chicken wings on a paper towel after they’ve finished cooking.

Notes

Chili Oil Method

  1. Mix the following ingredients in a porcelain bowl: minced garlic, shallot, and ginger. Add 1 tsp salt, the Korean chili peppers, and red pepper flakes.

  2. Grab a pan and pour in avocado oil. Heat the oil until it reaches 350 degrees. Add the heated oil to the ingredients in the bowl and mix to combine.

  3. Once cooled, store the chili oil in a mason jar.

  4. Coat your chicken wings in this tasty chili oil to serve and enjoy!
