INGREDIENTS

  • 1kg of pork belly
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 Red pepper
  • 50ml Honey
  • 100ml Olive oil
  • 50ml soya sauce
  • Pinch Pepper & salt
  • 400ml of whisky

DIRECTIONS

  1. We are going to start with grinding garlic, red pepper, ginger, pepper and salt in mortar for a smooth paste. Add honey, olive oil and soya sauce. Mix it all.

  2. Cut about 1kg of pork belly into inch thick cubes and place it one the hot pan. Cook it until golden brown. 

  3. Pour your sauce into the pork belly and cook it until all liquid is almost gone.

  4. Add 400ml of whisky and cook it for about 2 hours on very low heat

  5. When ready dress with sesame seeds and fresh parsley.
