Drunk Salmon With Salad

INGREDIENTS

  • 300g salmon with skin
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 lettuce
  • 1/2 onion
  • 200g feta cheese
  • 200ml whisky
  • 30ml olive oil
  • 50ml honey
  • 2 tsp wholegrain mustard
  • 1 lemon
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Fresh parsley

DIRECTIONS

  1. Dice the tomato and cucumber. Cut the lettuce into small pieces. Cut the half onion into small pieces. Take a block of feta cheese and dice it. Toss all ingredients into a medium-sized bowl.

  2. In a small bowl, pour 100ml of whisky, add 50ml of honey, two teaspoons of wholegrain mustard, and fresh lemon juice (half a lemon). Season with a pinch of salt and pepper and garnish with fresh parsley. Mix everything well. Pour the dressing over the salad, leaving some dressing for the salmon.

  3. Set a pan on medium fire and pour in a tablespoon of oil. Season the skinless side of the salmon with salt and pepper. When the pan is hot, place the salmon in the pan skin side down and fry it for 3 minutes. Then, remove the fish from the pan.

  4. Cut the lemons into thin slices and put them next to each other to form a square. Put the salmon on top of the lemon slices (skinless side) and fry for another 2 minutes on medium heat. Add the rest of the whisky (about 100ml), being careful that it doesn't catch fire. Leave it for 1 minute, then remove from the pan.

  5. Make a small hill of the salad and place the salmon on top of it. Use the remaining dressing and pour it over the salmon.

  6. Serve and enjoy your delicious Drunk Salmon!

Notes

Be cautious when adding the whisky to the hot pan, as it may catch fire.
