INGREDIENTS

  • 3 lbs of wings
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Garlic, to taste
  • Maple bourbon rub, to taste
  • 2 tbsp Corn Starch
  • 1 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 tbsp Hot Sauce
  • Blue Cheese, for topping
  • Chopped Pecans, for topping

DIRECTIONS

  1. Season the wings with salt, pepper, garlic, and maple bourbon rub. Add in the corn starch to help crisp up the skin.

  2. Smoke the seasoned wings at 320F for 1 hour.

  3. While the wings are smoking, prepare the sauce. Combine the maple syrup and hot sauce in a saucepan and heat it up for 3 minutes over medium heat.

  4. Once the wings are smoked, pour the sauce over them and toss in a bowl to ensure all the wings are well-coated.

  5. Top the sauced wings with crumbled blue cheese and chopped pecans. Your Smoked Spice Maple Blue Cheese Wings are ready to serve and enjoy!
