  • 3 tbsp. softened butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 tbsp heavy cream
  • sprinkles

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place two pieces of crust on top of each other, roll them out to make one thick pie crust. Cut it into a rectangle. Repeat with the other two crusts.

  2. Coat the bottom crust with strawberry jam leaving about 1/2" (1.27 cm) around the edges uncoated. Place the other pie crust on top. Crimp with a fork to seal the edges. Poke holes in the top with a toothpick.

  3. Brush the top of the pop tart with softened butter. Bake it in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

  4. While the pop tart bakes, make the icing. Combine powdered sugar and heavy cream in a bowl. Stir to combine.

  5. Allow the pop tart to cool for a few minutes. Spread the icing on top followed by sprinkles.

  6. Cut the pop tart into 8 equal sized pieces and serve.
