INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 1/3 cup Soy Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Lime Juice
  • 3 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 lbs Ribeye Steak
  • 3 Bell Peppers, sliced
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Flour Tortillas
  • Sour Cream, for serving
  • Guacamole, for serving
  • Salsa, for serving
  • Lime Wedges, for serving

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.

  2. Cut the ribeye steak into thin slices against the grain, add them to the marinade, and mix well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour.

  3. Heat a large skillet or grill pan over high heat. Add the sliced bell peppers and onions, drizzle with vegetable oil, and season lightly with salt and pepper. Cook until the vegetables are charred and slightly softened, stirring occasionally.

  4. Remove the vegetables and set them aside on a plate. In the same skillet or grill pan, cook the marinated steak slices for 3-5 minutes per side or until they are browned and cooked through.

  5. Return the cooked vegetables to the skillet and toss with the cooked steak for a minute or two, until heated through.

  6. Warm the flour tortillas in the microwave or oven until they are soft and pliable.

  7. Serve the steak and vegetable mixture on warm tortillas with sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and lime wedges. Roll up the tortillas and enjoy the delicious, savory flavors of the ribeye fajitas.

Notes

For best results, marinade the steak for at least one hour before grilling.
