  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup finely minced red onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

DIRECTIONS

  4. Sear the steaks on each side for 3-4 minutes until they achieve a beautiful brown color.

  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and let the steaks bake for 8-10 minutes or until they reach your preferred level of doneness.

  6. While the steaks are in the oven, mix together the red wine vinegar, red onion, garlic, parsley, oregano, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.

  7. Gradually whisk in the olive oil until the mixture is well combined.

  8. Take the steaks out of the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  9. Drizzle the homemade chimichurri sauce over the sliced steaks just before serving. Bon appétit!

Notes

Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing to lock in the juices.
