INGREDIENTS

  • 300g bacon
  • 150g Polish sausage
  • 1 onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 courgette
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 3 peppers (different colors, preferably)
  • 250ml tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 4 bay leaves
  • Fresh parsley

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cut the bacon and sausage into small pieces.

  2. Place a medium pot over medium heat and add the bacon and sausage.

  3. Dice the onion and garlic into small pieces, then add them to the pot and mix well.

  4. Cut the courgette, tomatoes, and three different-colored peppers into small pieces. Add all the vegetables to the pot and mix.

  5. Add the tomato sauce to the pot, followed by salt, pepper, marjoram, paprika, and bay leaves. Stir everything together.

  6. Bring the mixture to a boil over low heat and cook for 15 minutes.

  7. Once cooked, transfer the Leczo to a bowl. For added flavor, top it with a fried egg and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy your delicious Leczo!
