INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 12 oz Smoked Sausage
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper (diced)
  • 6 Green Onions
  • 3 stalks of Celery (diced)
  • 3 cups Cooked Rice
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese
  • Tony Chachere’s No Salt Seasoning (as needed)
  • 1/4 cup Paprika
  • Soy Sauce (as needed)
  • Sriracha (as needed)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cook white rice as per instructions on the packaging. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Brown the ground beef with 1 tbsp of Tony’s no salt seasoning. Once cooked, drain and remove from the skillet.

  3. In the same skillet, brown the sliced smoked sausage, diced red bell pepper, diced celery, and the white ends of the green onions. Season with 1 tbsp of Tony’s no salt seasoning. Once cooked, remove from heat.

  4. Combine the cooked ground beef and rice in the skillet. Add paprika and stir well.

  5. Stir in 1/2 cup of cheese into the skillet. Spread the remaining cheese on top.

  6. Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted.

  7. Garnish with sliced green onion, soy sauce, and Sriracha. Enjoy your delicious Redneck Rice!

Notes

Adjust the amount of Tony Chachere’s no salt seasoning, soy sauce, and Sriracha as per taste.
